One of the great things about summer is all the activities move outside! Summer concerts are a great way to spend time with family and friends and enjoy the talents of local musicians. Pack a picnic and a blanket and get ready for some toe-tapping fun!

Algonquin
Summer Concerts
Thursdays, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. July 11 through August 8
Food Trucks will also be on site during concert nights. See link for which trucks will be at which nights.

Cary
Concerts in the Park
Thursdays, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. June 13 through July 18 (no concert July 4)

Crystal Lake
Concerts in the Park
Tuesdays, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. through August 6
Crystal Lake Main Beach, 300 Lake Shore Drive, Crystal Lake

Harvard
Outdoor Concert
June 13, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Huntley
Summer Concert Series
Tuesdays, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. June 18 through August 20
Location varies between Deicke Park and the Town Square, see link for locations.

McHenry
Summer Jazz Concerts
Thursdays, 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. through August 1 (no concert July 4)
Veteran’s Memorial Park, 3400 Pearl St., McHenry
McHenry Parks invite kids to make “airplanes”, color, play with hula hoops, blow bubbles and create sidewalk chalk masterpieces. They will be set up in the shelter on the concert nights.

Ringwood
First Friday Concert Series
7:00 – 8:30 p.m. June 7, July 5, August 2, and September 6
Lost Valley Visitor Center, Route 31 & Harts Rd., Ringwood

South Barrington
Summer Concert Series
Wednesdays, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. June 12 through August 28
The Arboretum of South Barrington, 100 W. Higgins Rd., South Barrington
Concerts are held in the Main Street Plaza. Come early and enjoy a weekly arts & crafts show starting at 5:00 p.m.

Woodstock
City Band Concerts in the Square
Wednesdays, 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. through July 31
Woodstock Square
Ice Cream social happens in the square at the same time.
