Outdoor Movies in McHenry County

One of the “new to me” experiences I had when moving to the suburbs was outdoor movies. I’m not talking drive-ins, those are pretty spectacular too. I’m talking about neighbors gathering in a yard and watching movies on garage door screens. It was fabulous! You can have this quintessential summer experience even if you don’ t have a neighbor with a projector at one of the many outdoor movie events happening this summer in McHenry County.

While most of these movies are free events held at pools generally have admission fees. Please be sure to click on the links for full details on the events. All events are, of course, weather dependent. Each site has it’s own policy for the weather, canceling or moving indoors, so again check with the host. Little McHenry County is not responsible for changes to the schedule or cancelations after publishing.
