Huntley Goes Bald
March 7, 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Pinecrest Golf Club, Huntley
It’s a St. Patrick’s party for good! And don’t worry about the weather, as it’s all inside! This family-friendly event raising funds for St. Baldrick’s will include head shaving, live music, food, Bagpipers (5:00 p.m.), raffles, kids activity tables, face painting, and more.

St. Patrick’s Day Festival
March 7, 12:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Del Webb, Drendle Ballroom, Huntley
Tickets are $27.50 per adult and $17.50 per child younger than 12. Your ticket includes dinner catered by Jameson’s and dessert. The Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance and the McDance Company will be performing at 12:00 and 6:00 p.m. Advance tickets required.

Shamrockin’ Party
March 7, 5:00 – 10:00 p.m.
Saints Peter & Paul Catholic School, Cary
Cost: $20 adults, $5 Children. 1 free child ticket (under age 12) per adult ticket purchased.
The event features dinner, entertainment, shenanigans for kids and beer ad wine for purchase. Trinity Irish Dancers will perform.

St. Pat’s Concert of Irish Music and Dance
March 12, 7-9:00 p.m.
Luecht Auditorium, McHenry County College, Crystal Lake
The concert will begin with a round of Irish dances from the McNulty Irish Dancers, followed by music by Pat Gaughan, LJ Slavin, and Nancy Maio, who will perform traditional Irish ballads, pub songs, and Irish dance tunes. Free and open to the public.

11th Annual Barrington Celtic Fest
March 13 – March 17
McGonigal’s Pub & The Loft, Barrington
This annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration stretches over several days in the heart of downtown Barrington! This year’s festival will be smaller and contained entirely in the Pub. See website for the entertainment schedule.

Parents’ Night Out – St Patrick’s Day *registration required*
March 13, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Huntley Park District
Enjoy the evening out while your children join the Huntley Park District for games, crafts, movies, open gym & more! Pizza and drinks included. Registration fee is $13 per resident and $18 per non-resident.

St. Patrick’s Day “Make & Take” Workshop *registration required*
March 13, 4:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Snapology, McHenry
Fee for the class is $22 per child.
Kids will build their own LEGO pot of gold to take home! Plus, they will create other lucky leprechaun LEGO projects, games, etc. There will also be time to explore our Discovery Center too! For ages 5-12.

Rebecca McCarthy’s Irish Step Dancers Performance
March 13 & 14, 7:30 p.m.
Scorched Earth Brewing, Algonquin
The Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance troupe stops by the tap room for a very special Irish step dance performance. Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend and show your Irish heritage!

Cookie Decorating for St. Patrick’s Day *registration required*
March 14, 10:00 a.m.
Pinstripes, South Barrington
Cost: $15/child
Kick-off your Saturday morning with Cookie Decorating for St. Patrick’s Day. Tickets required and include a complimentary kids meal.

Shamrocked Market
March 14, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Mixin Mingle McHenry
Stop in for some free shamrock-themed kids activities & face painting by Tamara’s Artistry, and peruse items from our specialty pop-up shop. We will also have green beverages for sale (something for both adults and kiddos)! 

McHenry ShamRocks the Fox
March 14-15
Miller’s Point, McHenry
Paint the town green this St. Patrick’s day! Downtown McHenry’s two-day event McHenry ShamROCKS the Fox features the Fox River dyed emerald green by Blarney Island. There’s plenty of music, family-friendly activities for leprechauns of all sizes!

St. Patrick’s Day Dinner
March 14, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Huntley American Legion Post 673
Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner with all the fixings and dessert as well as a cash bar. Cost is $10 at the door.

Annual St. Patrick’s Dinner
March 14, 6:00 – 11:00 p.m.

St. Thomas the Apostle, Crystal Lake
Cost: $15 adults and $10 for children.
The event will feature Irish Dancers, live entertainment, cash bar, and traditional Irish dinner and sweet table.

St. Patrick’s Day Party
March 16, 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. 
Bella’s Bouncies Skate on Grand, 720 E. Grand Ave., Fox Lake
Cost is $10 per person/$15 per couple includes admission, skate rental, Dress as a leprechaun and your admission is FREE. Enjoy games, a bounce house, a “selfie” photo booth, festive drinks and more.

St. Patrick’s Day Party
March 17,  9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Bella’s Bouncies, Volo
Cost is $10 per jumper. Wear green and save $2 on admission
Dress as a leprechaun and your admission is FREE.
